18 Holes · Par 71 · Kinston, NC
About the Course
Falling Creek Country Club was designed by Gene Hamm and opened in 1967 as a par-70 course. It was later adjusted to a par 71 with the addition of a new men's tee box on the 13th hole. Today, the course stretches 6,430 yards from the championship tees.
Narrow fairways and long par 3s are nestled between huge oaks and tall pines, making every round a true test of shot-making. But don't let that scare you off — the layout is fair, and golfers of every skill level find it enjoyable.
Whether you're a scratch golfer looking for a challenge or a beginner just getting started, you'll have a great time at Falling Creek. We guarantee it.

The Greens
In June 2005, all 18 greens were renovated with Champion Bermuda grass. This variety is prized for its dense, uniform texture and its ability to hold a true, consistent roll — exactly what you want when you're trying to make that birdie putt.
Our Greens Superintendent Tyler Sutton and his crew take tremendous pride in the condition of the course. Come see for yourself why golfers from all over Eastern North Carolina make the trip to Kinston just to play our greens.
Our fairways and tees feature 419 Bermuda grass — a tough, resilient variety that holds up beautifully in the Eastern NC climate.
A full tee-to-green irrigation system keeps the course in excellent shape throughout the season, rain or shine.
Tee boxes for every skill level. The course plays 6,430 yards from the tips, with shorter options to make the game fun for everyone.
Tall Carolina pines and hardwood oaks line the fairways, creating a beautiful, challenging corridor that rewards accurate ball-striking.
We're a semi-private club, so guests are always welcome. No membership required to play — go online for a tee time.
